FATF Grey List Update June 2024 - Jamaica and Türkiye removed, Monaco and Venezuela added
In its plenary meeting held on June 28, 2024, the FATF removed Jamaica and Türkiye from the FATF Grey List, also referred to as the Jurisdiction under the Increased Monitoring List. This list includes the nations actively collaborating with the FATF to address significant deficiencies in their frameworks to combat money laundering, terrorist financing, and proliferation financing.
The FATF confirmed that Jamaica and Türkiye have successfully addressed the strategic deficiencies identified during their mutual evaluations conducted by the FATF, and consequently, they have been removed from the Grey List.
Additionally, during this plenary meeting, the FATF identified two countries to be added to the FATF Grey list – Monaco and Venezuela.
